Constructions of non-functional briefcases in foam core, paint and plastics. Within the cases are crafted trinkets of watches, recreations of cell phones and sunglasses that mimic the surface appeal of cheap consumer goods. The briefcases are secured to rolled cardboard stands salvaged from their original location after having been discarded.
Wall Displays
Exploring the superficial quality of consumer goods the wall displays shift focus from the multidimensional view of floor sculpture to assemblies on the flat surface of the wall. The products consist of cast polyurethane objects further removing the artists hand from the manufacturing process to emphasize the ubiquity of multiples. These are mounted on cardboard panels and placed on the wall.
Drawings in cardboard frames
These group of drawings take their content from the graphics and text of cardboard boxes. The works on paper are made of charcoal or marker transferred on a secondary sheet of paper from a master drawing. The transfer resembles a print and the original drawing is thrown away. The product is then packaged by placing the drawing in a frame made of cardboard and vinyl glazing.
